CIRCUSFIT® Aerial Fitness Teacher Training Courses
CircusFit is a registered Aerial Fitness Teacher Training provider. Course pre-requistes are experience of aerial conditioning or circus aerial arts, plus one of the following qualifications: ETM, Fitness Level 2, Personal Trainer Level 3, Yoga Instructor or Pilates Instructor, and Antenatal / Postnatal Exercise (for applicable courses).

CIRCUSFIT FLYERS - INSTRUCTOR COURSE - LEVEL 1
Formally known as CircusFit,"CircusFit Flyers" originated as a Gymbox Creative in October 2013 created by Hester, the then Group Studio Manager & Studio Creative for Gymbox in London.
This instructor training programme comprises of 16 hours face to face tuition split over 2 or more days, several hours of pre-course study time, and video submission after the course. You must already have experience as an aerialist and a fitness qualification: ETM or Fitness Level 2.
Using Static Trapeze, Silks, Rope, Hoop and Aerial Hammocks CircusFit Flyers is a fitness training programme which develops strength and flexibility, using the training techniques of professional circus aerialists in a safe, fun and effective fitness class format. CIRCUSFIT DYNAMIC AERIAL YOGA - INSTRUCTOR COURSE - LEVEL 1
CIRCUSFIT DYNAMIC AERIAL YOGA - 16 hour Instructor Training
Aerial Yoga can be levelled to meet needs of any ability group, and specific focus: from elite strength training to meditation and relaxation. The definition of Yoga is stillness of mind. Using traditional yoga principles, the hammocks bring focus to your practice, becoming your work space, replacing the traditional yoga mat. This is an essential course for anyone wanting to develop as an Aerial Fitness Instructor.
CIRCUSFIT RESTORATIVE AERIAL YOGA - 16 hour Instructor Training
Restorative Aerial Yoga uses the hammocks are as a therapeutic tool to unwind and release the body. This system incorporates myo-fascia release therapy techniques which pays attention to the sheet-thin connective tissue which joins together our muscles, organs and bones. Subtle, slow movements, assisted by the hammock allows the body to unwind and re-balance, to rehabilitate from or prevent injury.

CIRCUSFIT AERIAL PILATES - INSTRUCTOR COURSE - LEVEL 1
This is a two-day instructor training programme. You must have a Pilates qualification. Aerial experience is useful, but not essential.
This course will train you to teach Pilates fundamentals, based on the work of German bodywork pioneer Joseph Pilates: using aerial hammocks help to align the body, release tension, develop & strengthen stabilising muscles, improve core strength, and improve flexibility. Added benefits of the hammocks include full inversions to decompress joints, intensifying body weight through part suspension, balanced with total relaxation as you rest & de-stress in the hammocks.
This programme is designed to be taught to all levels and can help clients with remedial needs. Specific attention is paid to modifying exercises for individuals, correcting and 'spotting clients'.

CIRCUSFIT ANTENATAL AERIAL YOGA - INSTRUCTOR COURSE
This 12 hour instructor training programme is split over 2 days. You must have a Yoga Instructor qualification and/or Antenatal Exercise certification.
This course will train you to teach a unique method utilising aerial hammock, birthing ball, and Yoga principles for a complete antenatal exercise program. Yoga postures are modified to adapt to the changing needs of your pregnant clients, catering for each trimester of pregnancy. The hammocks and birthing balls support body weight, allowing for mobility exercises, core stability exercises, gentle muscle toning, stretching, and complete relaxtation.
This programme is designed to be taught to all levels whether your clients are new to exercise or fitness enthusiasts. Designed by Hester during her pregnancy to alleviate her pelvic girdle pain and address symptoms of pelvic malalignement, weakened wrists, swollen legs and tight neck, shoulders and lower back.
